Tips to Choose the Right Optional Subject for MAINS UPSC Examination
The UPSC CSE Exam is conducted in three stages: Prelims, Mains and Interview. For the Mains Exam, the candidate is required to choose one optional subject and that subject can make a significant difference. For UPSC aspirants, the decision to take an optional subject is a deeply ingrained situation. The majority of students are generally confused as to which optional subject to select for the UPSC Mains exam. According to the new syllabus, UPSC has decreased the number of optional topics for UPSC to one, making it more difficult to choose. Out of the nine exams in the Mains, two papers i.e. Paper VI and Paper VII, are from the UPSC optional subject.
